Chips/insurance - change of ownership/address

A bit complicated but will try to explain.
All 6 cats are chipped with my details and insured with my details.
2 of them (2 girls) have been living with my daughter - not far enough from me to bother about changing the chip details (cost £15.00 each) or insurance details as still under the same vet.
Now - my daughter is moving away to.... Cumbria :eek::eek:
So using the same vet etc is not an option, will have to change the chips details for the 2 girls for my daughter's name and her new address plus of course think about how to deal with the insurance.
Girls are insured with PetPlan - around £20.00 per month each.
Thanks God none of them has any conditiuon that could be excluded so I wonder....
1) Call pet plan keep the insuranec but change owner/address
2) Insure them "fresh" in my daughter's new place - Cumbria may be cheaper to insure than London.
Any thoughts?
Thanks....

Good news is that Cumbria should be cheaper than London (I pay £19 for my 2 in total).
I'd be tempted to do new quotes with her new address and see what they come out at - and then phone them to see what just changing the policy will come out at.
If it comes out way more to change the policy, then I'd be tempted to start the new one off and then cancel the old one once the exclusion period is up (PP are good in that you can cancel the policy part way through the year if you need to). HTHGrocery Challenge £211/£455 (01/01-31/03)

Cumbria will defo be cheaper, where is she moving too? I may be able to recommend a vet.
Very jealous I have been trying to escape London for a year to go back up there but have had no luck with jobs at all!

I run a dummy quote for the 2 girls for where she is moving to and... half price at £10.10 each. At the moment £19.99 each....
Pthree - I am beyond jealous.... Windermere.....sigh.... I wish.....
Well, at least I may have somewhere to go on holiday with the dog as... she took on a B&B :eek::eek::eek::eek::eek:
Bit scared for her, needs some wqork but she has a good plan - dogs will be welcome

Oh my dream job too! Not my dream location though (I prefer the North West of the Lakes B&B Ennerdale or Loweswater.............. heaven........... when I get my lotto win!!!)
Not my area so don't know of any vets but big farming country so I am sure it will be easy to find out.
Windermere is stunning, too many tourists for a local-ish girl like myself, although given half the chance, I am sure I could "put up" with it
I am sure that Zara will love her hols in the future, and if your daughter needs any help to live-in give me a shout (lots of hotel experience lol)
I am sure after a few visits you may find yourself moving further north, it is an amazing place to live, makes me wonder why I ever left... ............

Thanks - only seen the location on the map (and the house inside out) but would move there myself in 5 min flat. Hate living in London - despite being "on the side", still.. travelling into London every day... sigh.....
She got balls my daughter I have to give her that.. She is only 22 and takes on such a big project - just keeping my fingers crossed for her

Well - emailed PetLog and they changed Fiona's and Phoebe's details free of charge, based on the details I provided in my email and over the weekend too - great service.
Insured the girls in my daughter's name and her new address - same cover, same PetPlan but half the price the insurance was here.
All sorted. Ufffff0
