Indesit white goods

I am just about to kit out a kitchen with oven, hob, washer and fridge and wondered what the general opinion was with Indesit appliances. Obviously you get what you pay for but it is for a rental property so I don't want to kit it out with Miele!

Please do not get an indesit washer,we had one with our fitted kitchen and within months the paddles within the drum came dislodged ,OK within the guarantee ,but they still came lose after,we have just managed without them now, still washes. The rest of the kitchen was Bosch and it has all been fine, you will still have to have it repaired ,rental or not, after guarantee ,big bucks. To be happy you need to make someone happy.0

You can get much better quality stuff on ebay
Seond hand, but it's unbelievable, the quality of what some people sell! I got a silver Hotpoint 1300 spin washign machine for £50, a silver Belling cooker for £50 and a HUGE virtually brand new, still under warranty Daewoo fridge freezer for £140 (okay, brand is rubbish but for that price?). You can really afford to throw it away then...
Whatever you do, please go freestanding over integrated as you can at least replace it without having to pay someone to fit it.Everything that is supposed to be in heaven is already here on earth.

I had a quite basic indesit dishwasher and it was C***
I've recently bought a John Lewis own brand Washing machine and I love it £299 I think (actually about 2 years ago now I think about it)
I'v also had a White Knight condensing tumble dryer for several years and it's great too, never had any trouble withitJust call me Nodwah the thread killer0 -
After the problems we had with Indesit and the upteen repairs for a few months old washer/dryer and being told by one engineer we are using wrong type of washing I wouldn't ever buy one again. Basically they are rubbish or were with ours as it was the sensor that keep cutting the machine off all the time, another engineer told us that they are rubbish in not so many words0

Indesit are very poor. Cheap and tinny. I used to have a kitchen full of indesit appliances that were supplied in a new house. It's since all been replaced due to various faults, and lack of, and cost of parts. I won't list all the issues! I should say actually the fridge still works.
Pay a little more, it saves moiney in the long run. I like bosch kit, and I'm also very impressed with our new LG washing machine.
When buying appliances one thing often forgotten is to compare the NOISE the things make. As an example, you could hardly talk over the Indesit dishwahser, where the bosch is almost completely silent.0 -
