I sold something on ebay today for £50.0
This is the winning bidder's first purchase.
Papal is telling me that payment is 'pending until the 27th July'
I assume that this is because the buyer is a new user?
Anyway, I dont want to post the item until payment has cleared.
Don't wanna get scammed for £50, although, a little reading says that I can get into trouble if I don't post it straight away?
Anyone clear this up for me? Should I message the buyer?
cheers

I definitely wouldn't post the item until it shows as cleared. If I recall correctly, payment pending means they don't have up to date credit card details on file (usually the card has expired or the Paypal account is new). Contact the buyer and tell them that their Paypal payment is showing as pending and once it clears you'll post the item.A straight line may be the shortest distance between two points, but it is by no means the most interesting.0

Is it just an e-cheque? They take time to clear, but you are told not to post until they clear in this case.0
