The 3ds XL is being released soon, or has just been released, so am sure the 3ds will reduce in price! The preowned ones from game are a pretty good deal.0

Don't.
3DS is really not worth it trust me. Save up a bit more and get the Xbox 360 slim 250GB for £200.0 -
its for my wee boy its what he wants so going to get him 1 he already has a ps3 that he loves0

The 3DS XL is probably a better bet. Although it's more expensive than the standard 3DS the battery life will be much better, and it seems to be more solidly built. Despite its bigger screen the definition may look a little blocky as it shares the same pixel count as the smaller screen 3DS. I wasn't impressed by the original 3DS which had more than its share of teething troubles. It remains to be seen whether the 3DS XL comes up to the mark, if it doesn't catch on like the 3DS there may be some bargains to be had, but Nintendo haven't done themselves any favours by not including a charger. I can see some interesting conversations between buyers and retailers after release day.0

Have a look on eBay or Gumtree, if you are prepared to do a bit of searching, you may get a good deal.0
