Holiday in Woolacombe - Entertainment Ideas Please?

Good evening
We are going to Woolacombe next Saturday:j and would be very grateful if anyone who has visited before could suggest some places to visits/things to do.

Well, the beach is fantastic there!

Barnstaple has the pannier market. Near Bideford is The Big Sheep and the Atlantic Shopping Village. Ilfracombe isn't too far for a wander round and perhaps a boat trip.

A bit further afield, you have Lynton and Lynmouth, with a funicular railway between the two, and talking of railways, there is a VERY short narrow gauge railway at Woody Bay, which we usually try to go along to and support (and which does very nice home made cakes!)

That's great too, yes we are taking our daughter - will look at those
