Fashion - Ugg boots, are they worth it?

Options
Being the label snob I have recently become, I have decided I want some Ugg botts. I normally get the £14.99 sheepskin boots from Shoezone. What I want to know is, are the Ugg ones sturdier? I find the cheap ones bow on the inside and I end up with Duck feet unless I keep buying new ones. Hopefully you know what I mean!

Are Uggs sturdier?

Thanks

I've had a pair for 3yrs and they still look good , I don't wear them that often though.. I think you'll find they are better made than cheap imitations...

Thanks I was hoping it was a case of "you get what you pay for". I just didn't want to spend £180 odd and find they bow. I bet I order them and then they go out of fashion lol.

I have three pairs and I love them!

If you want some quality boots without the ugg price tag, look for bearpaw in tk maxx, I had a pair of these and was very impressed with them :)

Uggs are good quality. Although the softer ones give really poor support to your ankles etc. Ugg do a leather one but these retail at about 280, they're the most comfortable boots I own, and still look like new two years on after plenty of use. If you/anyone you know if going to the US, get them to pick them up there instead. I got two pairs in New York a couple of years ago, $200 per pair for the ones that are usually £280 each here

Also, keep an eye out on sites such as Javari, Kurt Geiger as thru the summer they sometimes have very good sales which include Uggs .
I stockpile if I see any in the sale and have never paid more than £130 for a pair! They are fabulous quality and so comfy. You will never wear anything else. I alway buy a size smaller as I think they are generously sized.
Also have a pair of BearPaws but they became too wide with wear and ended up selling them on EBay.

Love my Uggs - wear them winter and summer. I have the Bailey button ones. I have had mine for three years and am thinking of replacing them this year as they still look good but have lost a little of their furry and feet warming properties.

I would always get the cheaper versions until I go to the US on holiday. Theyre so overpriced here.
