I have managed to get my car insurance reduced by £36 per month. Do I need to tell my IP?
Thanks.
Thanks.

Hi, I think you have to inform them of any change greater than £10 to your incomings/outgoings, I'm in an IVA and have to do this. It ought to say somewhere in your insolvency paperwork whether or not you are bound to report this to your IP.
Hope this helps! x0 -
Thanks I will have a look through my paperwork.0

Im sure your petrol or some other expenses may have gone up also which will take up that £36? but inform your IP if your expenses have increased i doubt your contributions will change0

Thanks I hope I can keep it, £36 is better in my pocket than anyone elses.0 -
Oh well informed my IP and they said I had to pay the original figure of £220.66 per month as I had gotten it reduced because the 220 was too much.
But for this month I get to keep the saving as its too late now to change the standing order at the bank.0 -
Just dont tell them. They will never ask for proof. You could argue and say that in the last 6 months the cost of fuel is out weighing any saving you make on car insurance.
Also, general food and drink has gone up too - factor that in, Get your IVA payments lower. What WILL they do? nothing apart from moan. Lots.0
