buildings claim accomodation queries

i am currently going through a buildings claim for flood. I had no contents insurance and insurers are currently paying for me to stay in b and bs/holiday cottages as it will be a few months of a job. We may have found a short term let now but it is unfurnished. Would they have to provide me with some temporary furniture or not? I know i didnt have the contents insurance but for example my bed was not damaged but fact it is in another property (my home) means i cant use it. Or would they pay transportation costs for my surviving furniture to the other place? Obviously the b and bs and holiday cottages they are currently paying for are furnished.

Talk to the adjuster about this - if it will save them money he/she should be keen to assist.
