Just looking for a piece of good advice please?
Home desktop is running Vista and both own and work laptops are on Windows 7.
Is it a) possible and b) worth putting W7 on the desktop or will it be a palaver to do with no point?
Thanks

A) Yes.
Yes. Grab a Windows 7 upgrade disc from a reputable source (ebuyer, overclockers or such like).
You can upgrade without affecting your documents but you may have to reinstall some of your non-standard applications.0 -

Before doing a) or b) I'd suggest running the Upgrade Advisor
No point. Win7 has more hardware support and lower system requirements than Vista.0 -
Its definilty do able just use a win 7 disk and the in built upgrade option0
