ESA and holiday pay...please help?!!

I am off work on sick (since Jan) have been diagnosed with Fybromyalgia and CFS. I get £26 a week ESA (because I am currently receiving working tax credits, which will stop in August). Financially I am really struggling to pay the bills, sort the kids out etc on what I am receiving, I am a single mum and its hard. I am just in the process of applying for DLA as well.
I have just received a payment by cheque from work for two weeks holiday pay (£200), if I cash this will it stop my ESA payments and put me back to the beginning with all my benefits? I am really new to all of this but spent the first three months off work with no money from anyone and I am gutted if this affects the money I have coming in.
I have school uniforms to buy and really need the holiday pay to pay for this...but what do I do? Do I need to let ESA know I have received it? If It does affect the payments and I just don't cash the cheque will it still count as I have received this money? I don't want to do anything illegal but the thought of going without monies for another 3 more months because of this cheque is :eek:
Please can anyone help me?
