Hi Guys,
I wonder if anyone could help please, I currently use Windows 7 and have a Belkin router.
For the past few days I cannot access my Yahoo mail, managed it once but it is not loading correctly. I am also unable to go on Hukd and The Body Shop.
Mse and Gmail etc is fine.
Does anyone know what the problem could be?
Many Thanks
Budgie x

Have you tried restarting your router and your pc? Have you installed any software or updates recently, particularly security updates? What security software are you using, and have you tried disabling it? What web browser are you using, and have you tried clearing the cache?0

Hi and thank you, I have installed some windows updates a few days ago, I am protected by a firewall security system I have restarted my pc and also switched off my router. I am afraid not very technical.
I am waiting to speak to my son but he is tied up at work all day, at first I thought it was my internet connection as I have the basic plusnet package which has been a little hit and miss, but as its gone on I realise that its something else.
I have googled the problem but its so technicalI'm just a novice an a poor one at that.
But thank you for your reply.

I would say the most likely problem from my experience is with your broadband and/or router. I used to have this with TalkTalk, everything would work except for Google...0

Well thank you James
From your first post I have had a fiddle and discovered there were still some updates and things that needed attention so I have installed them and restarted my computer and my sites are back :j
Whatever it was is now fixed, so chuffed
Have a good weekend
