Ford ka problems again!!!

Shot in the dark here, but just when you mention the rough running and the engine light coming on.

Does the engine sound like it's just not right? (not firing on all cylinders). Does it also struggle under load (i.e accelerating uphill).

Neice had the above problem in her Ka, fixed with a sparkplug lead.

Yes it is a bit like that, By feeling like its in wrong gear, I mean sort of chugging as if you are in a higher gear than you need if you see what I mean. Thanks will have a look Just hope its not a serious falt as after the ecu problem I dont feel like puttig much more money in to it.

F-Super for a petrol engined car. Not the best option.

ELM based scanners have better features. F-Super wins if you need to use it on MK3 diesels 2000 - 2003 (53 plate).

These are not OBD compliant so ELML readers wont work.
