HAve you done quotes via tcb?

(There have been posts that you get a different quote using tcb)

I've tried the Churchill quote via tcb, and it was exactly the same. LV was a couple of quid more.

Both our cars are with aviva and I would recommend them.

Changes can be done online with no administration fee.

Well that's the first recommendation I've seen for Aviva! Have you ever made a claim?

    Did you miss post #2?

Fortunately not had to claim (not since they were General Accident anyway).

I have seen that site yes. To be honest it's not that informative, since every insurance company gets appalling ratings. It looks like people only post there to rant about their poor experiences, and nobody posts anything positive. Apart from Hastings Direct for some bizarre reason; they do really well on reviewcentre, but have a terrible reputation if you search on here.

I was exagerating a bit... But if you haven't claimed then you don't really know what they're like. You can be with a company for years and they're fine day to day, then when you have to claim they're a nightmare.

You asked for opinions and I gave you mine from experience.

Hopefully neither of us will have to claim but we still have to take out a policy and maybe make changes. They have been easy to deal with from my experience so far. Making changes online without administration fees is a positive when you read some threads on here.

Swiftcover do this (but you ought to think twice about taking a policy with them too!)

(LV charge one of the lowest admin fees - £10)
