either the standard one or the flash-based one linked to under the main one....much more reliable and accurate than bt......Gettin' There, Wherever There is......
I have a dodgy "i" key, so ignore spelling errors due to "i" issues, ...I blame Apple0 -
bt ones useful if you are having problems and have a BT line as they can see the test resultsEx forum ambassador

The BT main one is the only one ISP's will accept as "definitive" when complaining about speed issues
The BT beta one always seems to give higher results
All speed tests will give differing results depending on a whole host of factors. One being how loaded they are by other requests for a speed test and another being how close the server being used is to your house and by what routing round the UK at that point of the test does the ADSL signal take to your house and how close you are to an 'ADSL node'
That said, I've never (yet) found a website apart from the speedtest ones and the various MS software update sites/servers that can actually supply data at the full 12Mbps recorded by the various speed test sites on my line.0 -

This only applies if you're on an IPStream connection - it's no use at all if you're on LLU.......Gettin' There, Wherever There is......

OP would do better by obtaining their router line statistics as these give definitive information on the connection.
Speed tests are always a bit subjective and give no clue as to what the issue could be.That gum you like is coming back in style.0 -
