Hi Guys, tigerfeet recommended this thread, and would appreciate any advice ;
My daughter and her partner, own a property(be it in spain), paid for, and I think it,s joint tennants, but not 100% sure.
They are splitting, or she is trying to, he just makes life difficult.
The house is rented, no written contract to a friend of his, who he says he wants to sell his BI too, to squander on other things, even thought they are in debt on 2 other houses.one here, another in spain.
She doesn,t want to have anything to do with it, on my advice, I suggest she puts it as equity towards the shortfall of another house they own in spain.which looks like being repo,d.
Can he sell his BI, without her consent to this third party, even if he was tennants in common?
Why the third party would want to buy it, I don,t know, because, he wanted to buy it all, but cannot come up with the money.
Surely, my daughter must sign something, to allow it to proceed, which I have told her not to.Her partner just wants cash, to cut and run, leaving daughter to hold the baby.:beer:ps. what,s the situation if all property was in england, as I know spanish law is a minefield.
