Does anyone know if there is a course for Intermediate/Adavanced Excel 2010 that you can do at home at your own pace? I have tried looking and can not see anything other than those silly one day courses that cost something like £400

There's the Mike Smart Excel course which I think is very good. You can try a few lessons for free online before you buy the rest of the course. I think the cost is around £20 per CD, but don't quote me on this. He has a very nice style of teaching. Have a look online http://www.excel2010tutorial.com/0

Many colleges will offer ECDL or Advanced ECDL on a self-study basis, you just go in for the exam if you want to do it.
The ECDL is only offered ifyou do all the modules, the Advanced ECDL you get a certificate for each module so you can just do the Excel.A kind word lasts a minute, a skelped erse is sair for a day.0 -

If you have Excel already I'd suggest perhaps just do what I did - think of things you would like to be able to do with Excel and then use Google to search for ways to do them. Although maybe that way was easier with the real world solutions I needed to find.0

I learnt how do use excel through practice, and through googling how each thing works, setting up fake spreadsheets at a simple level and just 'doing' it. Although Sprinkles is a new one on me!If you haven't got it - please don't flaunt it. TIA.0 -
