What has happened to Aldi's Specially Selected crisps?

My Dad loves these and popped into Aldi today and they have increased the number of multipacks of crisps and sharesize packs of their own Frazzles etc, but removed their Specially Selected crisps. The only 'posh' ones are the Passions Hand Cooked ones (like Kettle Chips).
Anyone else noticed disappearing lines at their Aldi?
The pet food section has doubled in size, not that I have pets.

Yes, porridge has disappeared from mine. Still boxes of individual sachets of the instant stuff but, on enquiring, I was told no-one wants porridge oats in summer! Well I do!!!"If you dream alone it will remain just a dream. But if we all dream together it will become reality"0

This happens to me also, you find an item and a few months later its no longer sold never to return.
I used to buy muffin bars, and a multipack of crips, both no longer can be found.
Anyone know if aldi buy in batches to test a product out? Would much prefer less special buys and carry more lines all the time. My local has half the store taken up with special buys that no one buys.Know the difference between what you WANT and what you NEED. :T0 -
I do wish Aldi stock ladies shoes above a size 7. I have a few friends that have bought shoes from there in the past and say how good they are - esp their own Sketchers Shape-ups. Alas being a size 8.5 (9 in trainers), I miss out. There are none of the Sketchers Shape-ups in the mens sizes and probably got a blue pair.
Any ideas on how do I contact them asking them why are they against women with big feet?0 -
Middy is there not an address on the packs to write to.
Not noticed that about the crisps but haven't been for a while but a shame they have gone.0 -
Our local Aldi seems to vary the prodcuts carried a lot too, quite annoying (I was looking for porridge oats today too!). I've noticed a lot of brands creeping in especially in the biscuit and fizzy drinks section, I wish they wouldn't bother as the vast majority of their own products are as good or better.0

They've completely changed the layout of my local store in the last week or so and the product lines seem to have altered somewhat too. They are very sporadic - I like the 'Be Light' crisps and it seems to be pot luck as to whether they are in either of the two stores in Nottingham. Similar with the cheaper vodka they sell - wasn't stocked in my local store until recently.0

They are also against women with small feet too Middy! I take a size 3 and their ladies shoes start at size 4! I dropped lucky with their insulated snow boots a few years back though - the girls size 3 fitted perfectly and was half the price of the adults!:)"If you dream alone it will remain just a dream. As far as I am aware they still do them crisp but they aren't in the black packets anymore and are called hand cooked crisps. They are in blackor blue or yellow or green packets (flavour dependant). They are on the bottom shelf of crisp aisle and at the moment also on the till.
Hope that helps0 -

Its the same with the mens shoes. They only do something around 8-10.5 so anyone with small or large feet look elsewhere.
I would guess its a simple matter of their buying teams buying Europe wide therefore going for sizes that will sell quick.
Also noticed their clothing in general sees to be on the small side, guess its the same reason.Hi there! We’ve had to remove your signature. It was so good we removed it because we cannot think of one so good as you had and need to protect others from seeing such a great signature.0
