Help with Course Funding

Hi there,
I am not sure if I am posting in the right area but I was hoping if anybody could help me on a certain matter.
I have a accountancy degree but have not been able to find employment in this field & am now looking to do a further course (either AAT or advanced ecdl).
I was wondering if I would be entitled to any help with the cost of the courses.
I am 27 and earn less than £10K per annum - No dependants & do not claim anything.
Thanks you in advance for any input.

I would suggest you speak to student services at the college you may be enrolling to do the course at.
there may be a bursary or reduction of fees due to low income but it is probably dependant on funding and area.
Good Luck
Are you claiming tax credits, if working 30 hours or more and no disability you may be entitled, check out directgov for more info.Forums can be/are a good guide to entitlement and it is good practice to back it up with clarification from the relevant department/specialist with written confirmation to safeguard yourself.0 -
I'd say no, because you have degree, if you only held a level 2 qualification and were under 25 you would qualify for full fees.
Don't forget though AAT does not cost a great deal and most of the fees are for exams. The exam fees are never included with any type of bursary or fee remission.
As allen35 says you need to speak to the provider that you wish to study with, they may have some sort of funding in place...
I'm really suprised that you now need to do AAT, doesn't seem fair :-/0
