Hi just wondering if any one was using 'SeaMonkey', the all-in-one internet application suite? I have used 'Firefox' for a long time now, so anyone's experience with this application would be interesting.

I used to use Mozilla, on which SeaMonkey is based, before switching to Firefox (and I used Netscape before that, and Mosaic before that).
They're all based on the Gecko rendering engine, if I remember rightly.
Any reason you don't want to use Firefox?0 -
Isn't SeaMonkey just for small Linux distros?0

No I am very happy with 'Firefox', just curious ..........joe2cool0

So why would you say Opera is better?joe2cool0

I always thought ff was too clunky, opera is faster, slicker, it doesn't have that "cartoony" look that ff has, it looks and performs like it means business..bookmark & tab management is better, speedial is good if you like that sort of thing, big range of plug-ins, etc.......Gettin' There, Wherever There is......
I have a dodgy "i" key, so ignore spelling errors due to "i" issues, ...I blame Apple0 -
Cheers GJ........................................So in Opera, if a 'tab group' is made will it remain permanent until you delete?joe2cool0

I agree about Opera. I'm a long time Firefox user but that's mainly out of habit. FF seems to have become almost a parody of what IE used to be. These days IE isn't a bad browser but Opera is something else again. One by one the penguins are slowly stealing my sanity.0

I thought Seamonkey was basically Firefox + Thunderbird + Lightning (the calendar add-on) .. all built into one application.
You old use Mozbackup to transfer all your settings to it and try it out!0 -
I've used Seamonkey to publish a web page. I thought it was OK, I didn't use it extensively, just to alter and publish updates to a league website.0
