Help Needed! For June..

Hi all,

I want to go away somewhere hot (not mega hot) for a week in June. Just me and my boyfriend. Dont want anything 'clubby' but a nice relaxing place that also has something interesting (historical/cultural) to look at. I am thinking we would like to try a good 4/5 star all inclusive resort for a nice relaxing holiday.

I was thinking Turkey seems to have good AI deals but i dont know..anyone have any suggestions? Budget up to £500 each.

Thanks

  • Don't know whether this is your cup of tea, but you could look into Guernsey. I know it's not your classic beach destination, but take a quick look at https://www.visitguernsey.com and decide for yourself.

Alternatively (if it's got to be farther afield), Malta might be worth investigating.

Corfu is lovely (if you avoid Kavos) especially Paleokastritsa.

Lindos is beautiful and has everything. the clubs are tucked away and the bars are lovely and friendly.

No cars are allowed through the streets which is great and the local method of transport is donkey.

Have a look on olympic holidays.

Thanks for all the replies. I will look into all of these places. I have been to Malta as a child and it was lovely, might be good to take my OH.

We would ideally like to fly from Heathrow, but Gatwick is viable too. Thanks Sloppychops, i know your gona come back with some corkers! Your a star.

Kavos is just what your looking forward. It is in Corfu and is not clubby or dirty, more tranquil and picturesque though spite of this is still a destination for the younger generations with a variety of trendy bars and restaurants. It has AI resorts, is affordable in June with your budget(despite being one of the more expensive Greek destinations) and i would say deinetly cater for what your looking for. It has to be beutiful Kavos....by the way, Kavos in English means Beutiful heaven
