Hi All
I guess this question probably gets asked a lot but I'm just trying to get cheap flights to Bulgaria (Sofia or Plovdiv) we have a friend so I have somewhere to stay but the prices seem crazy at the moment. Is it worth waiting for a late flight deal or do they not really work just for flights?
Hoping to go from Bristol or London (realise London will be cheaper). I've tried several search websites for flights, can anyone suggest anything else? It's very frustrating as you can get cheap flights for £32 one way in September but I guess that's the school holidays for you.
Even Ryanair is quoting £260 exlcuding luggage etc.
Cheers

Remember that Bulgaria has many airports.
After today's tragedy, I suspect that many people will be unwilling to fly to Bourgas. So once the airport there reopens, affordable flights might become available -- assuming that you don't mind retracing the steps of murdered people.0 -
The area I can stay is between sofia and plovdiv so those are the most accessible airports anyway. Varna and Bourgas are quite far. Although I suppose people might re route to Sofia or Plovdiv to avoid Bourgas...0

What dates?... I've just checked and Stansted to Plovdiv is £120 for most of August and down to less than £50 at the end.0
