I was given steroids to take when I was pregnant with twins just in case they arrived early. I am pretty sure that I was given them in tablet form and that there were no side effects whatsoever for me. I hope that you have a nice trip when bubba does make their appearance!
My opinion is neither copyrighted nor trademarked, and it's price competitive. If you like, I'll trade for one of yours.

yes they give steroids to help babies lungs develop so less likely that if they have to deliver early baby will have less problems. just a bit of reassurance for you my friend had a baby 2 weeks ago at 32 weeks and he weighed a healthy 4lb3 and within a week he was off any breathing equipment and he's now started feeding from a bottle at only 2 weeks old he looks very well also. hope all goes well but don't panic because she's in the best place and she could still carry full term.
  • My friend was given steroids as she was having contractions before 26 weeks (twins). Steroids over 3 days meant her twins (born at 26 weeks!) needed far less breathing intervention after birth than otherwise might have been required.

They are very healthy 2year olds now.

Daughter in law now home and told to take things easy. Scan shows all fine with the baby. Now going to be checked more regularly by midwife/doctor.

Thanks to you all for your re-assuring posts. Much appreciated.
