  • Thanks guys, it really sucks to have to pay to find out what these guys hold on our files. That reminds me I better cancel my credit expert membership before they start taking money from me!!

The information on an annualcreditreport.co.uk report will be the same as the Callcredit information obtained through the checkmyfile.com service, as they are sister companies and annualcreditreport also uses Callcredit data.

Experian only provides publicly available information to the checkmyfile service (such as CCJs), so the only way to get a full copy of your Experian credit report is by contacting Experian direct.

Unfortunately, a lot of people appear to find the checkmyfile website misleading in relation to their triple agency report and Experian data.

I am an official company representative of Experian. MSE has given permission for me to post in response to queries about the company, so that I can help solve issues. You can see my name on the companies with permission to post list. I am not allowed to tout for business at all. If you believe I am please report it to forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com This does NOT imply any form of approval of my company or its products by MSE"

  • Thanks everyone, apparently two out of the three entries are now fixed but I haven't got updated copies of my credit reports to check. I've been so good lately, paid of £1000s since LBM in December and closed down 3 credit cards I wasn't using but... I still got turned down again for a new bank account with BoS (really wanted the £100 lol) so I'm fed up! Will just keep paying off what I can and will check credit reports again in the autumn before I have to make a new mortgage application.
