anyone help re ....Writing texts on a Blackberry ?

blackberry Bold 9900 .
Just recently ....when writing texts ..... seems to have a will of its' own ! .....
i can be writing a sentence .. when it just decides after a word to put in a full stop ... then of course next word then starts with a Capital letter .
Can't believe that i'm doing anything differrent .. or hitting suddenly hitting full stop key .
any ideas ?

Make sure you aren't hitting Space twice. Double tapping Space is the shortcut combination for a period/new sentence.0
