As this is shopping related, I've moved it to the shopping board. I tend to buy yoghurts, cheese and sometimes they have great quorn offers.

Hi, Martin’s asked me to post this in these circumstances: I’ve asked Board Guides to move threads if they’ll receive a better response elsewhere (please see this rule) so this post/thread has been moved to another board, where it should get more replies. Last week a pack of 10 cans of coke or diet coke were £2.50 working out at 25p a can. It was the fridge pack so easy to store and amazing value.
Everyone raves about the Iceland curries. I've never tried them but probably 6 or 7 people at work have said they are great.Trying to save money and always open to ideas and expecting our first child in March 2015.0 -
I used to use Iceland when they did Internet deliveries and they worked out cheaper than Sainsbury's.
If the frozen mince still looks like extruded tubes then I don't recommend it as it just fell apart and was more like sand than mince.OTH the plain fish is good and the frozen veg.
I don't use Iceland much now but recently got good offer on Innocent juices and when there are family parties Iceland is always first choice for party food and cheesecakes etc.
Thanks to posters on the Burgen bread will go investigate that for OH.0 -
They do a pack of 2 salmon parcels (or salmon en croute to anyone else) which are not too huge and are delicious for a fantastic £1.50. They don't take up too much room in the freezer and I always have them as a standby item. I think the bags of haddock and cod are excellent for size, quality and price and would never buy anything other than their 3ply toilet rolls at 4 for a £.0

I almost always buy my fish from Iceland. Lovely quality smoked haddock, tuna steaks and salmon fillets and I always have a bag of each in the freezer. I haven't tried the salmon parcels (thanks alex21) but at that price will give me them a go!"If you dream alone it will remain just a dream. But if we all dream together it will become reality"0

Most people don't live close enough to an aldi to make it worth while going there, so there's no point in mentioning that.
There will also be people who can't get to an Iceland, in which case there will be little point in them reading this thread.
But either way, lets keep it to prices in Iceland and not fill it up with pointless posts about prices in other stores.0 -
