Incorrect details on PCN

Hi. I'll cut to the chase. My car is a Daewoo Matiz and i have received a parking ticket (outside my own home - grrrr) but the ticket states my car is a Daihatsu. The reg has been written down correctly... is this enough to invalidate my parking ticket?

Thanks.

  • Is it a council ticket or from a private parking company?

Reg right then its valid, car make being wrong does not matter its still valid.

Wrong make of car will not cancel a council ticket, wrong reg would have done.

For council tickets you are best being redirected over to http://forums.pepipoo.com/index.php?showforum=30 the ppepipoo bods have a vast knowledge on council tickets, if anyone can get you off a council ticket then pepipoo can

  • Time to head over to pepipoo for a more detailed look at the ticket and circumstances I would suggest....

Start a new thread and I'm sure the people there will help you appeal if it seems the reasonable thing to do.

ok thanks guys. my residents permit had expired. i thought i'd paid to renew but was hit by the natwest tech crisis.

i have appealed nut council says pay up unless i have evidence from my bank. went to natwest... they have no record. therefore i'm left to foot the fine.

Woooooahhh dont fold that easily !

There may be ways and means in fighting and successfully appealing the ticket, wording on tickets is always a starting point - then signage and road markings etc.

As I said register free on pepipoo and they should be able to assist further, dont pay if you dont have to.
