Help needed with finding a hotel in Rome

Sorry to ask but i'm pulling my hair out trying to find a hotel in Rome for 3rd-7th April, that is fairly central or near to a good transport link such as the Metro. It's for a double room for 2 people.
I know it's a lot to ask, but ideally under £200, or if not as close to that figure. I'm at my wits end trying to find somewhere that's not in the middle of nowhere or has appalling reviews.
Thanks in advance

Think you might struggle to get anything decent for 4 nights in Rome at Easter time for £200 or under
Try here

try https://www.accorhotels.com , but demand is high, so I think you may have to compromise to meet your budget.Posts are not advice and must not be relied upon.0

You are an optimist if that is for £200 for four nights for a penthouse overlooking the Colosseum
However this is the best site to book accomodation in Italy - you can also read user reviews so you get an idea of the place. Good luck and enjoy!

Also check out this restuarant if you are close by, we really loved it. http://www.ristorantedarobertino.com/homepage.html0 -
I'd recommend doing a search on venere.com - really helpful website with lots of good maps/reviews, and reasonable prices too (which you also don't have to pay in advance)
Plus for 4% off, use code: BK5HX8W
I think it's a good idea to check out this website even if you find hotels cheaper elsewhere, as the descriptions and maps are generally better than other sites in my opinion.
Hope that helps0
