I sent my license off to dvla to change my address they sent back a form to my new address and no licence I asked where my license was they say they have no trace of receiving it I emailed them asking they how they knew my new address there excuse was this:-It is likely that this form would have been received at your new address as to ensure that automatic renewal forms are delivered to the correct postal address, the DVLA uses an outside company (Experian) to provide us with up to date address details. And then went on to say that I would need to spend £20 to get a new one what do I do next?

You've posted this in a thread which is about taking the DVLA to court for unlawful data release, which is irrelevant to your situation.Angry_tiger wrote: »I sent my license off to dvla to change my address they sent back a form to my new address and no licence I asked where my license was they say they have no trace of receiving it I emailed them asking they how they knew my new address there excuse was this:-It is likely that this form would have been received at your new address as to ensure that automatic renewal forms are delivered to the correct postal address, the DVLA uses an outside company (Experian) to provide us with up to date address details. You need to start your own thread in the Motoring forum, not the Parking sub-forum.
I have been providing assistance, including Lay Representation at Court hearings (current score: won 57, lost 14), to defendants in parking cases for over 5 years. I have an LLB (Hons) degree, and have a Graduate Diploma in Civil Litigation from CILEx. However, any advice given on these forums by me is NOT formal legal advice, and I accept no liability for its accuracy.0 -
Welcome to MSE, Angry tiger

I've moved your post out of the Parking Fines sub-board and into a new thread on the Motoring Board.0
