I can't believe how you guys are so organised, I just stumble on Monday and still got to do my shopping for the week!

However, here is a rough idea of how it will go:

Breakfasts as usual a mix of jammy toast, porridge with nuts and egg dishes.

Lunches mostly salads with either cheese of some sort or the other, or tuna. Possibly DD and DS will have some pasta.

Dinners, in no precise order as no shopping has been done yet (will do tomorrow):

1 - vege sausage casserole with greens, potatoes (possibly this is tonights meal as I have the stuff in stock).

2 - Cauliflower cheese, rice, salad (possibly tomorrow as all in stock).

3 - Pasta broccoli, tomato salad

4 - Aduki bean stew, sauteed marrow (Weds?)

5 - Lentil and potato curry, greens of some sort (after shopping)

One of the above dinners might be fish as I have some in the freezer, but have to wait for an evening when DD is out as she is strictly vegetarian and hates the smell of fish when I cook it.

No idea about weekend yet, depends what I find nice fresh and cheap in the market tomorrow.

Very vague, I know, but at least I try to get an idea of what to get and what to use up already here.
Finally I'm an OAP and can travel free (in London at least!).

It has been far too warm for some of my planned meals. The changed order looked like this:

Sat: HM Burgers in buns with pickled onions and steamed baby corn
Sun: Pease Pudding and Onion Pie with veg and gravy
Mon: Indian-style Cottage Pie (slow cooker)
Tue: [STRIKE]Penne in Tomato Sauce with greens and garlic bread (poss a slow cooker sauce)[/STRIKE] Cooked pasta and puy lentils, cooled under cold tap and mixed in semi-dried tomatoes (in freezer from AF), pimento olives, oil and smoked sea salt. HM Vanilla Ice Cream I found in a freezer drawer.
Wed: Pease Pudding and Onion Pie with green peas (from freezer) and [STRIKE]Apple Potato Mash[/STRIKE] HM oven chips + roasted onions
Thu: Something from the freezer - need to whittle it down... turned out to be Fry's chicken style nuggets, HM oven chips, peas and sweetcorn.
Fri: [STRIKE]Pacific Pie and greens (slow cooker)[/STRIKE] Thai Sausage Ball and Veg Kebabs with rice or noodles
Love and compassion to all x
