Who quoted you that figure and does it include the labour for fitting the parts?
Have you tried other suppliers to get other quotes?"You should know not to believe everything in media & polls by now !"

Sounds Expensive.
The parts can be had for less than £150, + around 3 hours labour at ~£50. So I'd not pay more than about £300.
Who quoted that price, Kwik Fit? Take it to a local garage for a second opinion, they might not even need changing!0 -
Take your pick here to see how much the brakes cost and you get an idea how much they are trying to overcharge you.

Get an honest assessment from your local, friendly, independent garage. Then, have a good look at the car and your personal finances and equate the cost of throwing hundreds of pounds at the car, how long you are likely to keep it and what else is the car due to need attention on. With Stilos being so plentiful and so cheap, I'd think twice about the repair.0
