Snow hill Brum Station evening rate confusion

Snow Hill Station Car Park in Birmingham.

£3 an evening for which I bought a ticket, didnt realise that the evening doesnt start until 6PM I arrived at 5.35 and was only covered until around 7.30. I ended up with a ticket.

The 7.30 time was clearly printed on the ticket the evening rate starts at 6pm was clearly sign posted however I didnt notice either.

Do I have any grounds to appeal or should I just pay.

If you had bought another ticket to cover the evening you may have had a chance to appeal.

But seems you may have no case, Except you got it wrong.

Its getting to be a joke, How can they charge these silly figures for a £3 mistake?
