random leak has me baffled

Its very random.
had wet rug yesterday and last Friday, been dry today so far and dry Sat and Sun.
its deffo the washing machine as no wet at all in under sink cupboard. but the floor is dry when I check to see why rug is wet.
am not heaving sodden washing out the WM so not that and door closed proper when in use and drawer too, and door left open when not in use.
I cant even say its when WM is on that it leaks because it was not used Friday and was used every day since.
nothing else plumbed in that it could be so anyone else had this? any ideas?
tis not end of world as floor is tiled and rug catching the water so far but bugging me:)
