Hey guys...hope everyones good!
I was looking for some help...my darling (using the term very loosly at the mo) thought it would be the best idea in the world to draw all over his wood bunk bed with a greeny brown wax crayon :rotfl:If I don't laught I will prob cry!
Does anyone know anything that will remove it? I really don't want to have to sand the bed.
Any tips re the above greatly recieved!
Thanks in advance!

Have you tried baby wipes? Really don't know what they put in them but they get all sorts of things off walls etcFinally debt free, all thanks to this site and all the posters:j0

put a paper towel over it and iron it with a warm iron, should melt the wax and draw it into the paper towel.A kind word lasts a minute, a skelped erse is sair for a day.0

:rotfl::rotfl:... Our little [STRIKE]Devil[/STRIKE] Darling has used a crayon to "colour in" the groves in our laminate floor before  ..... baby wipes and a LOT of elbow grease worked well !!0 -
Is the wood painted/varnished or sealed in some way?"You were only supposed to blow the bl**dy doors off!!"0

No its not.
Baby wipes seem to be shifting the light parts of crayon but the heavier bits won't budge!
This started my day and its gone down hill fast since
Thanks for the help!0 -
I suggest you take a slightly longer view of this. I suggest finding a piece of scrap timber with a similar finish and apply the same crayon so you can test the process.
I am very dubious about the hot iron - it seems to me that there may be a fair risk of driving molten crayon into the fibres of the wood. Mty first thoughts would be to try white spirit and then meths.Hi, we’ve had to remove your signature. Have you tried those magic eraser things ? JML do them or wilkos do their own version for less than £2.00. They have managed to remove numerous "master pieces" that my little darling has decorated the walls with.............0

I went down the baby wipe route mainly as I had them at hand.
They have worked....well mostly!
I chose not to use the iron as the way my day has gone I could see me burning or melting something.
Thanks again guys for all help and advice!0 -
as said before WD40!
