My thinking was if the 5 amounts that were taken had payed the debt then the debt with wonga is repaid iyswim.
My guess is that Wonga would have tried to take the full amount first. Then, when that failed, various lower amounts until the account was drained. So it's likely the loan (and interest) hasn't been paid back in full.
If the OP has details of the repayment plan in an email they should complain to Wonga. If that fails they should request a chargeback via their bank.
However, these things are often done orally over the phone and there's often (usually?) no evidence of who said what.0 -
I would contact your bank and complain about "unauthorized cardholder not present" card usage.
Except that these sorts of attempts by Wonga to recover the debt will be authorised. It's part of the agreement to get the loan in the first place.I would even get your card cancelled and get a new one
Which is no help, because it has precisely zero point nothing to do with a CPA, which is what will be set up.If you don't stand for something, you'll fall for anything0 -
It's not repayed, it's repaid.
Just to confirm - do you need to correct people's spelling/grammar to try and make yourself feel better about life?

I did this with a DVD by post rental company and an insurance company (there has to be a law against regarding automatic car insurance renewal)
I would even get your card cancelled and get a new one
1. It's not unauthorised
2. Stopping the card doesn't stop them taking the money.
3. Sounds as though the OP might have repaid in full now anyway.0 -

Play with the bull and you'll get the horns.
