I sold an item on ebay the other week and posted straightaway and the buyer left me feedback saying she was very happy with item and it arrived quickly. Ive now recived a paypal chargeback for this item. Ive disputed it as buyer has left me feedback saying item has been recieved so will they still give her a refund ? Ive now thrown the postage reciept away after she left me feedback.

This happened to me once and i scanned a copy of the feedback and sent it to Paypal, I also had the POP though, just a standard one not tracked. And I contacted the buyer who said she had no idea why this had happened.
The chargeback was cancelled - I don't know if PayPal ever contacted the buyer.0 -

Ive just contacted the buyer and im waiting for a response. Ive also copied the feedback she left me and put it on the paypal form. Ive thrown away the pop after she left me feedback as I knew she had recieved it but I will be keeping them all for a bit longer now after this.0 -
What sort of dispute- is in a bank / 'fraudulent use of a card' claim?
If so there is unfortunately a very good chance you will lose the claim as paypal need proof of posting to the address they gave you in order for you to be covered by their seller protection. Feedback doesn't usually matter at all.
I had one just after Christmas, buyer looked good, was active on ebay and I contacted them in case they were not aware it had happened and I never heard anything back. I even tried to phone them and left a message on their answering machine- still nothing back.
I won the case though as I do keep my POPs for 180 days minimum but it took ages to get the money released and I often wonder what was up with the buyer.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. Yes you can still use your paypal.
Buyer needs to sort this out then and call off the claim.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards.
