Personal Injury Compensation Protection Trust

Hello,

My solicitor recommends I open a Personal Injury Trust for some compensation I am due to receive following a RTA. The solicitor asked a colleague to phone me who explained they can set up a trust for £750 plus vat with no ongoing fees as the trust would be overseen by at lest two trustees I appoint, e.g. this can be a family member, friend etc.

Using google I have found a company offering to set up a trust for between £350-450 plus vat (salmon solicitors) and £659 plus vat (linder myers). This is a huge difference in price.

I am easily confused by legal things like this and wonder if someone knows if there are differences between personal injury trust funds or whether, like most things, when you shop around you find the same product for much less.

Many thanks for your time.
