Marking exams while on JSA

Hello
I'm on contributions based JSA. I marked exam scripts recently.
Due to a bank holiday here, there is a 4 week gap between my signing on dates. I initially thought of signing off for the week it took to mark the exams but now I'm thinking of declaring it when I sign on next week.
I want to ensure that this will be acceptable with the JBO. It's not waged employment and I will get no P45.
I also wonder what happens regarding my NI credits. No NI is payable on the money that I make. Does the JBO have structures to handle this type of work?
Lastly, if I state that the work took place across two signing on weeks will I lose 2 weeks JSA? Given that I wasn't in a job as such, I can rig the dates that I worked (in reality, mostly evenings and weekends to fit around kiddies. I'm choosing a week to sign off as it took 50 hours to complete the papers.)
If there's anything I'm doing that might put me on Saints and Scroungers (the latter category) please let me know! Thanks.

My friend at work has a husband who is a teacher and paid £6,000 every year for marking exam papers, at home via his computer.

Is that the kind of money you will be getting?

Lol - I wish! he must have done it on a industrial scale. I'll get about £400 after tax.
