Any Parking experts out there who can help?

Whilst on holiday recently I got a ticket for parking in a dual use bay. It was loading with restricted parking times later in the evening. I am a blue badge holder. Unfortunately I did not understand the sign correctly. I was confused, also as the bay did not have any yellow blips on the kerb, and also the bay markings had the remnants of of a yellow line, and some repairs around the bay which added to my confusino. I informally challenged the ticket with the council who refused my request. I stated that the markings were confusing and not as I understood a loading bay should be. ]I plan on a formal challenge then appeal. Does anyone know if I'm right as the council say that there is no requirement for the yellow blips on the kerb, and did not comment at all about the yellow line remnant and repairs to the bay surface. I've got photos but cant post as I'm a newbie

Try https://www.pepipoo.com they are the experts on council tickets, they will want you to scan your ticket in, together with images of the bay and signs , you can host them on photobucket.com and post them into a new thread. Just scrub your personal details out

They are all or have been suspended from accessing the DVLA database for gross misconduct!
Do you really need to ask what kind of people run parking companies?
