Chip and Pin, how safe now?

Rip off Britain tonight shows how safe Chip & Pin really is. Exactly as I have said before, it isn't. And how the banks won't admit how flawed the system is.

Chip and pin will never be safe and the new wireless cards are even less secure.

What did the program say about chip & pin ?

Not had a problem yet although the fake chip and pin terminals do bother me a bit but I use reputable filling stations to buy petrol(although i should use the credit card) from and tend to use cash in corner shops.

Don't think I'll be losing any sleep over it, to be honest.

Never had an issue with C+P, or contactless. The gangs of criminals with high-range contactless readers or fake chip and PIN cards/readers people blither on about have simply not materialised. You are still more likely to get your card read at an ATM, and even that is a tiny possibility that barely bears thinking about.
