Living Social Refund - Help!

I bought a voucher for singing lessons from Living Social on https://www.livingsocial.com. In order to use the voucher, I was to
contact The Music Practice in Glasgow, which proved to be impossible as they never answered their phone. Upon realising
this, I tried to phone Living Social numerous times, but no-one in their Customer Service department answered - I don't even know if they exist. I then sent a few requests on their website (each subsequent one because the previous one was unanswered). I also emailed them and similarly got ignored.
Eventually, I turned to facebook (believe it or not) to prompt them to get back to me. Finally, they did, but have basically lied and said they never received any previous correspondance from me, and that because the voucher they sent has since expired they will not refund me. It is for £35, and although not a huge amount of money, it is still almost a days wage for me at the moment. To sum of all this up, I have paid for something which I believe may not exist, and certainly I didn't receive. Please can you help me? Thanks

Same thing happened to me, except I never received a response!
I hope you manage to sort something out.0
