Hershey chocolate is the most disgusting chocolate I have ever tasted....and I've tried a few :EasterBun
Oh dear god, I couldn't agree more. It was like eating soap! In a totally unprecedented move where chocolate is concerned, I actually spat it out.

Once I had had my first taste of Hotel Chocolat, I was ruined for any other brand. I can manage Galaxy in a crisis, but I am anyone's for some Hotel Chocolat :D:D:D

I've had this [STRIKE]argument[/STRIKE] debate many times, Galaxy beats Cadbury's hands down.

Sorry, not in this house !!!!

    Sorry, just got back.

Yes, it's Montezuma's. They do do some nice chocolate mixtures. But my travels no longer take me near their stores, so I now only buy from them online. It's an online offer, if anyone wants it.

My current fixation is an extremely cheap bar from Lidl. 200g with hazelnuts, in a purple wrapper, for just 95p. Much better than Thorntons, and cheaper too.

So, how long would a kilo bar and £50 of Montezuma chocolate last in your house, and how would you distribute it (or not)?

I've never heard of Montezuma's, are they popular/ on the high street?

me neither, never heard of them. I occasionally go into hotel chocolat in town for the lovely chocolaty smell, then go buy some Galaxy, Lindt or Milka :). Cadburys is the 4th choice in my house, but hey, if its the one on offer, thats the one we'll buy lol.

A 200g bar would last me a week or more. I love chocolate but I would never eat that much in one go, Id feel disgusting. Id just eat maybe 4 squares at a time and then put it back in the fridge.

So a 1kg, maybe a month or so shared out between me and my DH. And if we had people round Id offer them some.

Has to be Cadbury for me too, but 1kg is massive it would last me ages.
For cakes it has to be Bournville cocoa and no other will do.

I did try a Galaxy bubbles the other day and it was nice but I'd prefer an Aero.
