JSA/Job offer

I started claiming JSA on 12th June. I had an interview last week and just received a call offering me a job. It starts August 1st. My next sign on day is meant to be 31st July - Do I still attend this and let them know then I am signing off, or do I go in before a tell them?
I will obviously wait until I have job offer in writing before I do anything but I'm just unsure of the rules on what to do!

You can sign off now, just fill in the form at back of your signing on booklet, might be safer to leave it fora bit longer just in case something happens with the job offer, once you've filled it in and they've closed your claim you'll have to start all over again if things don't work out. Might be safest to hand it in and ask for a receipt for it, these things have a habit of going missing.

    By the way CONGRATULATIONS

Wait until you have a firm offer before signing off. You can tell them on the 31st if you have it in writing by then.

You will need to sign on 31st July to be entitled to JSA for the previous 2 weeks, so if you sign off now they won't pay you after the date you last signed on. When you sign on 31st Julhand in your ES40 to let them know you are starting work on 1st August but ensure you have a solid job offer before you sign off.
