Charity - Is it normal for the CEO to be paid.

I'm a CEO of a charity too and only work part time and get a very small salary...0

Small salaries are not always the case though, I am CEO of a local charity and get paid reasonably well.0

one issue of course is with terminology. The title of the person heading up the charity I work for has varied over time: we've had a project leader, project manager, possibly a few others I forget, and now we have a CEO, but we're much bigger than we were. CEO does carry more responsibility than the post used to. And I used to have more responsibility than I do now, but I've never been a manager.
DH is General Manager of the charity he works for. He has several managers who report to him. He probably has very similar responsibilities to our CEO, but is paid a bit more - but then his hours are nominally more ... and in practice extremely long!Signature removed for peace of mind0
