warranty on laptopsdirect.co.uk wrong

hi i've just bought this laptop last night: laptopsdirect.co.uk/Lenovo_G570_Core_i5_Laptop__M51BPUK/version.asp#top (not allowed to post links)
as you may notice the listed warranty is 2 years
(in case they change it i took a screenshot)

so tl;dr version is lady calls and emails me offering a variety of add ons including 3 year warranty. i reply saying no thanks, and let her know i have a 2 year warranty. she tells me warranty listed is wrong - do i have rights regarding that? or do you reckon this is just a sneaky sales technique lying to me to get me to spend £50? i'm not going to spend that £50 either way

but the reason i bought it from laptopsdirect instead of saveonlaptops was purely because of the 2 year warranty....

any help appreciated

Thank you for your order for the laptop.

We just wanted to double check as you haven't ordered any internet security/anti virus software to go with it.

They do only come provided with a 30 day trial version of Internet security software, which isn't very good, so you will need to put your own on, and we do recommend a full internet security software package by' F Secure'.

This is a very good system that includes full internet security, it won't slow your machine down like Norton, MacAfee and it updates 5 to 10 times a day, so you always have the full protection.

(Never use a free on as sometimes you are actually downloading a virus, and even the bigger more 'trusted' free anti virus only update at most every 2 weeks, and they don't give you full protection, usually just anti virus and anti spy.)

F Secure has just won anti virus product of the year and it is just £20 for the full year cover, or even better we can offer 3 years/discs for £50!

Also, do you use Microsoft office software (Word, excel PowerPoint, outlook etc) as this is not included with the laptop.

There will only be MS Office starter, which is only very limited access to word and excel.

If you need PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook etc, we do have all Microsoft Office packages available if you need this.

I would like to offer a service to you we offer called a PRE DELIVERY INSPECTION, we do recommend it on laptop of this value.

It could be beneficial to you.

The laptops get sent straight from the manufacturers shelves to your self and they don't check every one, so we check it and set it all up for you, saving you quite a lot of time.

The main thing we check for are permanently lit pixels on the screen, which sometimes happen on LCD screens, they can't be repaired and not classed as a fault under warranty unless there are 5 or more.

The screen still works but where a pixel is missing it leaves a coloured or black dot that doesn't change and these are not covered under warranty.

If we find even 1 dead/lit pixel, then we won't send you that laptop.

We also check it for any faults, do a full hardware check including checking all the keys, touchpad, ports, a full audio and wireless test, load and update all the included software and operating system updates, so it comes to you all set up and ready to go.

Then if the laptop fails within 28 days we will collect it from you and do the same inspection on the replacement laptop free of charge, so you wouldn't need to go through our normal returns procedure if anything was wrong. (We don't refund your return postage costs for non faulty items.)

This service costs £30

Would you like us to do this check for you? It does save you quite a bit of time.

The laptop you have ordered does not come included with back up recovery discs for the Windows 7, which are quite important.

You need a copy of the operating system on discs in case your laptop crashes, you get a virus or you need to restore it to the factory settings.

The manufacturers don't include them any more for copyright reasons.

You will need to make your own as soon as you switch it on, it will prompt you to do so, so make sure you have a few discs ready as they can take up to 4 hours to make, or we offer a service where we can make them for you.

This service costs £15.

This could be beneficial to you as it will save you some time, and if you aren't very technical.

Would you like us to make the recovery discs for you?

We do recommend we make them for you because if you have any issues making them yourself, we wouldn't be able to help then and the manufacturers charge up to £52 for them!

We can still deliver the laptop tomorrow as long as you get back to me before 1pm!!!

I don't know if you noticed when you ordered the laptop but we have a good offer on an extra 2 years warranty.

It does have one year as standard, but if anything was to go wrong after that they can be quite expensive to repair, and a bother trying to get it repaired.

So for just £49.97 we have an offer of an extra 2 years warranty, so you get 3 years altogether.

It covers you for breakdowns, parts and labour.

We will collect it from you and return it to you once its repaired, all at our expense, so you don't have to worry about sending it away yourself.

If we cannot repair it in the second and third year we will replace it with a brand new one, so 2 to 3 years down the line it would be a much better laptop!

It also doesn't come with a bag, do you need a slip cover or carry case to keep it in/safe?

Do you want to go for the 3 year warranty then its well worth it as repairs are very costly?

Do you have paperwork that says 2 year warranty.

Take a screen shot of the 2 year warranty web page.

I think they may be pulling your plonker.
