I'm with Virgin and have tv, phone and braodband with them. When they set it up last year they told me I have a wireless connection...I was never able to figure out how to make my computer wirless so use an ethernet cable.
I've got a Blackberry phone and when I try to use the wireless with that my phone asks me to type a password into my router...there is no key pad or anything on the virgin box for me to type in a password though. Can anyone help?

theres a passcode on the Virgin Wireless router, normally on a sticker , will say WEP key , Wireless key etc
you need to enter that into the phone , not the other way roundEx forum ambassador

But when I scan for wireless networks on my BB, find mine and click on it, I then get a message saying 'This wireless router supports Wi-Fi Protected Serup. To connect using a PIN (which your Blackberry will generate).0

The router probably has a "WPS" button, when pressed for a short time afterwards other devices that support WPS will be able to connect and register with the router without the need to enter a password. I had to do this when trying to connect my Sony TV via wireless.0

Your BB should give you two options to connect:
Press button on router; and
Enter PIN
you should also have the option to enter a password/passphrase/network key which you should find on a label attached to the back or bottom of the virgin router.
Going back to your computer, is it a desktop or laptop? How do I add a signature?0
