to all the others, thanks I used a damp soapy cloth, finger nails and a wall paper scrapper and got off most of it tonight in bout half hour. seems a lil random that white spirit didn't work but soap did *shrugs*

Paint cleans off well using the correct solvent if applied quickly. Emulsion paint is water based and therefore water soluble thats why. White spirit is a solvent for spirit/oil based paints. White spirit won't work as a solvent on a waterbased product.drummer_666 wrote: »seems a lil random that white spirit didn't work but soap did *shrugs*
