In both cases use the remedy within an hour or 2. Coming on here and giving 24 hours before using the suggested remedy is leaving it a bit late.

what the hell?? firstly - don't have to use the remedy within any given time. secondly - 'leaving it a bit late'? er no, you expect me to ask for advice, get it and then wait 24 hours before I try using any of the advice..... !!!!!!

to all the others, thanks I used a damp soapy cloth, finger nails and a wall paper scrapper and got off most of it tonight in bout half hour. seems a lil random that white spirit didn't work but soap did *shrugs*

    thanks x

Paint cleans off well using the correct solvent if applied quickly. Obviously, this advice is not intended to offend if you are not receptive.

Emulsion paint is water based and therefore water soluble thats why. White spirit is a solvent for spirit/oil based paints. White spirit won't work as a solvent on a waterbased product.

    *double shrugs* :D

    Cheers
