Whats the best card for travelling?

in Credit cards
I dont mean rate wise as its for company expenses, currently with Virgin & Halifax, and they are useless, My work spending must flag up the fraud dept and they stop my card, As for example went on a trip to Zurich for a meeting, bought lunch, evening was in Austria bought evening meal, then day after was in Amsterdam tried to buy lunch for clients No sale!!!, And it gets very embarassing when you cant pay for the meal.
I have phoned both companies and told them of travel plans, but the info musnt be passed on as frequently teh card gets stopped.
Any suggestions?

All cards are like that. Using a card in three countries over two days is very unusual and does very much look like your card details have been stolen. Any company would need to be informed beforehand of your plans.
I have used Nationwide abroad with no problems and get the added advantage of not being charged 2.75% commission.
All I can suggest is taking at least two cards with you to cover for situations where you card gets stopped.0 -
Other alternative is Post Office credit cards which are also commission fees free abroad.0

Do your company not supply you with a company credit card? My husband has one from Nat West and never a problem as it is set up for that reason.“A budget is telling your money where to go instead of wondering where it went.” - Dave Ramsey0

I've used Nationwide, and never had a problem. But whoever you use, if you know you're going to do something 'unusual' then letting them know beforehand can't hurt, or ask them to note your records that you're a frequent traveller.0

Unfortunately We dont get a company CC,, so we have to claim back on expenses, I have tried informing the CC companies of my travel plans, but it hasnt made any difference.
Ans why does the card always get refused in a restaurant whos hiring policy is only for rude waiters? Makes the situation so much worse.0
