    I'd love a Bengal they're beautiful!

My friend once told me a story about theirs. She was looking out of the kitchen window whilst doing the washing up and saw their Bengal playing in the garden with what she though was a hedgehog. She shouted her husband to go and rescue the poor thing but when they got their they discovered it was a still warm joint of roast beef!! The cheeky devil had managed to knick it from someone's house and carry it home. :D

Yep that's a Bengal for you! When Kora was just a kitten I had a rib eye steak resting whilst I tided the kitchen. I looked around to find her dragging it along the worktop!

I will continue finding out about Bengals and just see what happens. Oh one question while I remember - I read that they love destroying house plants!! Surely this is not true of all of them is it? I love my house plants and have about 50 of them. My cats do sometimes knock them over but I would be dreadfully upset if a cat destroyed them all

Some houseplants are toxic to cats and many moggies will chew the leaves.

Lilies are particularly bad. If a cat gets the pollen on its fur, subsequently licks the area and ingests it then it's almost certain death, even with treatment.

Good thinking. Here's a link showing what is poisonous:
