Difficult Amazon customer

I sold a game on Amazon and by mistake sent the wrong version of it . I admit that this is my own mistake and I should have been more careful, but when the customer emailed me and informed me of the mistake I replied asking them to send the item back for a fu.ll refund. The customer is also saying they were overcharged on the price I sold it for (£17 instead of £6.98). I have urged them to contact Amazon as I have nothing to do with money side of the transaction except setting the price when I list.
Within an hour or so of sending him the email though, he has left me a negative on my seller account saying
"i got sent international superstar soccer it was not deluxe and i got sent a receipt for £17 when i paid £6.98?"

Is it worth contacting Amazon and asking them to remove the second half of this comment?

Resolving a problem does not mean it didn't happen and buyer has been inconvenienced by having to wait to return the wrong game and wait for the right game.

As for the payment bit, that's weird, he needs to check with Amazon

We all make mistakes, we all have to live with them and learn from them. You admit you made one - it's frustrating if, say, they needed the correct item for a gift. A return and full refund doesn't mean they haven't got the further inconvenience of having to order the other item and wait for it to arrive.

This happened to me with my boyfriend's birthday present back in the spring. Unusually for me with an INR that turns up, I negged the seller because it was posted three weeks late and I'd already re-ordered the item from Amazon at that point as the birthday was only a week away and I'd promised him the item. I got Amazon to cancel the sale at the eleventh hour but if it had had to go through I would have had the inconvenience and expense of reselling the item on eBay - at a time when I didn't have much time to go to the village PO and was a mile away at least from one while on campus at uni - to get my money back.

All for someone to have an interest-free loan of £20 for three weeks.

People simply don't like being mucked around, whether by accident or design. You didn't respond badly - and I'd still get on to Amazon about the comment, see what they can do - but I think the neg should stand.
