Halifax Phishing

Got this e-mail this morning very suspicious and im not even an accout holder.

Im about to let halifax know but thought I would warn you lot first.

It is entitled "Urgent Notification From Billing Department" and is from "operator_049192341735@halifax.co.uk"

and asks you to click on a link to go to your internet account and confirm your details, but if you notice the entire e-mail is one big link as I tried to copy the text to put it in here but it is actually an image hiding a hyperlink which goes to

http://220.130.166.179/rpm/.

Idiots!

It must be April Fools day - I received e mail with (part)header as follows-

    FCC: mailbox://operator_6341029875@halifax.co.uk/Sent
    X-Identity-Key: id1
    Date: Fri, 01 Apr 2005 10:53:00 +0500
    From: Halifax <operator_6341029875@halifax.co.uk>
    X-Accept-Language: en-us, en
    To: chris.winkley@blueyonder.co.uk
I'm not chris.winkley so not sure how it got into my mailbox (can anyone help as this is happening a lot recently?) but obviously a scam

    I've been Money Tipped!
I received a dodgy email too from them. I am a Halifax Customer but I knew straight off it's garbage. Contacted bank with the email info.

Here is the email address for Halifax if you do receive a dodgy email requesting information on your accounts. Good if you can forward info whether you are Halifax customer or not.
